UCMD-LC...A Rise To a New Dawn

                             

Seldom do we see such living moments that are not mirages. Acceptance of UCMD as 11^th local council of Pakistan by International Federation of Medical Students association. Pakistan at National General Assembly is such an example. From there i.e. 2nd April, 2016, a dream was involved; the dream of laying a foundation of IFSMA Pakistan in UCMD for upcoming “forever”.

To fill in colours of reality in this canvas of fantasy, our coordinator M. Adil Irshad, Arisha Zafar and Mahnoor Tahir Ch, started working strongly day and night. Finally, an “Introductory Seminar” IFMSA-Pakistan at UCMD with collaboration of our Dean, Sir Mughees. A. Baig on 12^th May, 2016, was organized.

This seminar was conducted in auditorium of our college, from 2pm to 5pm. The guest’s priority consisted of our honorable faculty, Patron, Dean, Associate Dean, Vice Principal and HOD’s of our departments along with assistant Professors, in addition to other colleges’ local councils Presidents.  The audience composed of our UCMD’s members of IFMSA-Pakistan and our respected CBS executives.

The event started with praising speeches by Dean and Patron and UCMD coordinators. Souvenirs were also presented to the guests.

Then began the session conducted by National Executive Body Members of IFMSA-Pakistan. This session was core of the seminar as Manaqib Zain Ali Khan (Vice President External) and Awais Ahmed (PSDD) informed the audience of the achievements and purpose of IFMSA-Pakistan. They also explained the structure and operating methodology of the organization. Seminar concluded with Breath taking performance UOL Musical Society.

                                             

                             
This was all about the beginning of UCMD’s practical working along with IFMSA-Pakistan and nurturing of the seeds that has been sown.
